Required Education and Experience 1.Strong English language proficiency is essential, as teachers, students and parents primarily use English. Additionally, the task of this position is to specifically teach students English skills. 2.Ability to build relationships with students, colleagues and parents 3.Background experience teaching English-as-a-Second-Language, and familiarity with common international teaching practices. Ideally, the successful candidate has worked with international students and can support non-Chinese ESL students, as well as Chinese ESL students. 4.Willingness to collaborate with BC-certified teachers and and BC Principal to plan ESL classes, or to help support students in their classroom setting.
